Rohini Rustogi

Rohini Rustogi, President and CEO

Rohini Rustogi is the owner, President and CEO of The Brandon Montessori (BMS), The Riverview Montessori (RMS), and The South Shore Montessori (SMS) Schools.  As well as operating the three schools, she also runs the highly-appraised Reading Program and is the teaching mentor to every one of our 50 wonderful team members. She has a Masters degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Geography from Kumaon University in India.  In addition, Ms. Rohini has earned a Preprimary Teacher Certification from the American Montessori Society.  Ms. Rohini has completed coursework at the University of Tampa and graduate level coursework at the University of South Florida.  Ms. Rohini has been teaching in Montessori Schools in the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years.  She also speaks and writes fluent Hindi. Her passion for educating children is coupled with her love for gardening, nature and animals.

Sarinette Rivera

Sarinette Rivera, Executive Director

Ms. Sarinette Rivera is the Executive Director over the Riverview Montessori and SouthShore Montessori Schools. With a formidable background in education, Ms. Sarinette’s decade of education administration and teaching experience have helped to make the SouthShore Montessori School the sought-after school in the Apollo Beach area. Ms. Sarinette earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Southeastern University and also a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. She holds a Child Development Staff Credential and also Director Credential with Voluntary Prekindergarten Endorsement. Ms. Sarinette has a great passion for education and for children’s development at all levels. She is driven to providing a rich and individual learning experience for each of her students. Sarinette has two beautiful daughters, whom are attending SouthShore’s Preprimary and Riverview Montessori’s Elementary Programs. Sarinette is a respected leader in the community and serves with her husband as a dedicated youth pastor.

Laurie March

Laurie March, Director

Since 2005, Ms. Laurie March has been with our schools. She is the Director of The Brandon Montessori School and also manages the Community Relations and Special Events programs for all three schools. Ms. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University, Nebraska. She has 20 years’ experience in management with the U.S. Air Force during which she completed extensive training in professional leadership and communication. She has completed graduate level coursework in the University of Nebraska’s MBA program as well as Behavioral Psychology at Argosy University, Sarasota. Ms. Laurie has earned her Child Development Staff Credential and also her school Director Credential with Voluntary Prekindergarten Endorsement. She is passionate about education, seeks to inspire others toward self-improvement and prides herself on continuous professional development. She is a proud mother of two lovely daughters whom both graduated from BMS. Ms. Laurie thoroughly enjoys gardening with the children and has earned a Florida Master Gardener certificate.

Regan Burke

Regan Burke, Assistant Director

Ms. Regan Burke is our SouthShore Montessori Assistant Director. Ms. Regan started originally as our talented Kindergarten teacher and has made a tremendous impact on our children and school. She is originally from Panama City, Florida. Regan graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Psychology. She went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from Troy University. Ms. Regan served as the Director for a preschool enrichment program where she created a fitness program by fusing letters and sounds of the alphabet with fitness. Regan is a gifted teacher and leader, and she is passionate about children’s education. In her spare time, Regan enjoys running, reading, traveling and watching her children play sports. She has four children of her own.

Jennifer Castro

Jennifer Castro

Ms. Jennifer Castro has been with our schools since 2008, beginning at our flagship school Brandon Montessori. She was named BMS Teacher of the Year for 2012. Ms. Jennifer is our SouthShore Montessori Lead Teacher in the Young Children’s Classroom. Ms. Jennifer earned her Montessori Teaching Certification for the Preprimary Level, attending Maitland Montessori School’s Teacher Training Program. Ms. Jennifer holds an Associate Degree in Early Child Education through Rasmussen College, and also a National Child Development Associate credential. Always a ray of sunshine, Ms. Jennifer is the most loving and patient teacher. Her devotion to the children is prevalent in all that she does.

Anjali Dagar

Anjali Dagar

Ms. Anjali Dagar is from India and has been residing in the United States for more than 10 years. She began her Montessori journey at The Riverview Montessori School in 2012, and now teaches at our SouthShore campus. Anjali was named Teacher of the Year for 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Meerut College and a Master of Arts degree in English from the Charan Singh University in India. Ms. Anjali earned her Montessori Preprimary Certification from the Maitland Montessori school in Florida. Ms. Anjali strongly believes that being an educator is an incredibly important profession and personal calling which she is thrilled to be a part of here with our family of Montessori schools.

Sandy D'Amico

Sandra D’Amico

Ms. “Sandy” affectionately named by all the children, began her Montessori journey at our Brandon Montessori School in 2014 and quickly became an integral part of our school family. We are grateful to have Sandy join our SouthShore Montessori team. Ms. Sandy has over 35 years of administrative and leadership experience as an entrepreneur and as a manager at a major non-profit in the Tampa Bay area. Sandy completed her Maitland Montessori Teacher Training, earning her Preprimary Certification. She is certified in Infant and Child CPR/First Aid and holds a Director Credential. Sandy is dedicated to our children and her passion lies in developing a love of learning in each individual child.

Pranita Deshmukh

Pranita Deshmukh

Ms. Pranita Deshmukh is a talented teacher at our Brandon Montessori School, since 2013. Her passion and skill for connecting with the children are her trademarks. All the children seek to work with their Ms. Pranita! Pranita holds an Associate Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from India. She is completing her Montessori Preprimary Certification at the Orlando Montessori Teacher Education Institute. Pranita’s compassion for all inspired her to organize and lead the Triveni Womens Welfare Society, where she managed the operations and administration to empower local women in India. Pranita also worked in the village school where she discovered her love for teaching children. Pranita is driven to recognizing and honoring the uniqueness of each child. She has two wonderful children and enjoys cooking and hiking.

Janet Gallow

Janet Gallow

Ms. Janet Gallow hails from Jamaica and has been living in the United States since 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. She taught for 25 years at an all-girls high school in Jamaica and was the Assistant Principal at Holy Childhood High School in Kingston, Jamaica before moving to the United States. Ms. Janet has earned both her Montessori Preprimary Certification and Elementary Certification from Maitland Montessori School. We are proud of her hard work and dedication! Ms. Janet was the much-deserved Teacher of the Year for 2015 and also 2016.

Khairunissa Lalani

Khairunissa Lalani

Ms. Khairu is a very gifted teacher originally from India. She has been teaching Montessori for ten years, has been with our Riverview Montessori School since 2011 and was named RMS Teacher of the Year 2014. Ms. Khairu earned her Montessori Certification through the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and also her Bachelor of Science degree from Kakatiya University. Ms. Khairu is a poised and respected teacher who is committed to developing the potential of every child.

Sedoina Momparler

Sedoina Momparler

Ms. Sedoina is a long time teacher with our Brandon Montessori School, originally starting in 2002. She returned after taking a year off to earn her Early Childhood Education degree. Ms. Sedoina has been named BMS Teacher of the Year, 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2016. Talented with the children, Ms. Sedoina is an invaluable Montessori classroom teacher and also teaches Spanish to the BMS students. Ms. Sedoina is particularly skilled with challenging our Kindergarten students, designing fun and engaging lessons to develop the children’s skills and love of learning. Sedoina holds a Montessori Teaching Certification for children 3-6 years as well as a Child Development Associate Credential. She is CPR and First Aid Certified. Her sweet daughter is a graduate of our Brandon Montessori School. Ms. Sedoina shares many fun and interesting lessons that all our children adore.

Rohini Rustogi

Rohini Rustogi

Ms. Rohini wears many hats. She cherishes her work with every one of the children at all three of her Schools! Her uncanny sense of people and nature makes her so lovable. As well as her executive positions, she is a mentor to all the teachers with 25 years of teaching experience; 18 years of certified Montessori teaching. She loves to share her passion for gardening, music, and culture with the children. She has a special wit and humor that not only the children enjoy, but also the staff and parents thoroughly appreciate.

Lena Vietor

Lena Vietor

Ms. Lena is a SouthShore Montessori Lead Teacher who brings a fresh and exciting element to our Preprimary classroom. Lena has served as a Lead Teacher for eight years. Lena earned her Montessori Preprimary Certification through the Southwestern Montessori Training Center in Tucson, AZ. Ms. Lena is certified in CPR and First Aid. She also holds a YogaFit Teaching Certification. Ms. Lena enjoys cross-fit training and mountain biking. She is health conscious loves to share her knowledge of healthy habits with her eager students.

Maria Ymaz

Maria Ymaz

Ms. Maria Ymaz is our most sweet and talented Lead Teacher for our Riverview Montessori School’s Young Children’s Class. With her innovative teaching, caring way, and gentle manner, “it is like having our very own Maria Montessori in our midst.” Ms. Maria holds her Montessori Preprimary Teaching Certificate and Certification in First Aid and CPR. She also earned a Bachelor Degree in Education, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Maria loves to sew and is a wonderful cook, baking the most delicious treats for the school.

Gene Cannon

Gene Cannon

Gene Cannon is a talented instrumentalist, vocalist, recording artist, and composer with over 30 years as a professional musician beginning as a performance major at the University of South Florida. His music program, “Mr. Gene’s Music Machine," has been customized for our three Schools. Children learn to recognize famous artists and composers and then sing, dance, and play rhythms to music of many different cultures. Children are also exposed to numerous instruments, either played by Mr. Gene, or viewed through multi-media presentations. It’s all about music, fun, and learning!

Richard Jacobs

Richard Jacobs

All the children love Mr. Richard’s music classes. His choral vocal classes have everyone singing joyfully. He stresses the importance of proper breathing and vocal range while performing various children’s folk songs, cultural songs and holiday favorites from around the world. Mr. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s Degree from Florida State University. His teaching experience ranges from preschool to college level, and has taught private piano lessons, classical guitar and improvisation. His vast music background includes choir director, church organist, voice coach as well as public performance. Thanks to Mr. Richard, our Children’s Holiday Program is such a joy for young and old!

Barbara Knight

Charley Knight

Barbara and Charley Knight

Our dear husband and wife team have been teaching their ever-popular Art Classes since our Brandon school opened in 2001. They are talented local artists with their own professional studio. They run the Berkley Prep, Flemings Art camp each summer. They hold Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of South Florida. Mr. Charley and Ms. Barbara’s classes teach multicultural lessons, art history, color composition and proportion. Their specially designed art curriculum develops children’s eye-hand coordination, motor skills and most importantly their creativity. We can’t wait to see the new Art lessons they have in store, and we’re looking forward to our Children’s Art Exhibition each spring.

Arianna Boatright

Arianna Boatright

Arianna Boatright is our Physical Education Teacher and also our extracurricular Dance teacher. She is the owner/director of Creative Movement and Dance. Arianna inspires our children to have fun while staying active. She began dancing with the Lawrenceville School of Ballet when she was just three years old, where she discovered her love of ballet. Arianna joined the North East Atlanta Ballet Company when she was 12 years old, and continued to dance with the company through high school. After high school, Arianna attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN, where she graduated in July 2013 with a Business Management Degree. Teaching ballet is her true passion. She taught in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area for 11 years. Arianna accepted a position with Creative Movement and Dance in 2013. After moving to Florida in January 2016 she continued working with Creative Movement and Dance becoming a franchisee in August 2016. Arianna is passionate about her students and their dreams of becoming a ballerina. She now offers dance classes at Brandon, Riverview and South Shore Montessori Schools, as well as teaching PE classes to their students. She is excited to work with young children and help them succeed and grow in their passions!
